The Zwick Center

The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics is proud of its associations with the Zwick Center for Food and Resource Policy.

The Zwick Center provides economic research on problems related to food, public health, natural resources, environment, energy, and sustainable regional economic development. The Center's goal is to improve society's wellbeing by providing research results in the form of practical information for individuals, firms and public policy-makers to use to enhance decision-making outcomes and the functioning of markets.

Income Tax School

The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics is proud of our Income Tax School.

The University of Connecticut Income Tax School is a two-day program on federal and state taxes. It is designed to bring you up to date with the latest tax law information as you prepare for the upcoming tax preparation season. The program is specifically designed for accountants, consultants, attorneys, enrolled agents and all other tax professionals who prepare taxes.

The 2019 Income Tax School will have an outstanding group of instructors from the Internal Revenue Service, the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services, and private legal and accounting practices. Each instructor has expertise in important federal or state taxation issues as well as teaching experience.
