How to Arrange a Visit
Schedule a Storrs Campus Tour with the Lodewick Visitors Center (phone: 860-486-4900)
If you are interested in learning more about the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources or the Ratcliffe Hicks School of Agriculture, appointments are available throughout the academic year on Monday and Friday between 11 am – 1 pm to speak to a general academic advisor. Please check back in late summer to see the information session dates/times for the fall semester. You can contact the office directly to set up an individual appointment with a general academic advisor.
If you are interested in learning more about a specific major in the College, our academic departments welcome the opportunity to visit with prospective students and their families. Please contact the department directly. At times, it can be challenging for departments to accommodate all of the requests that they receive. Therefore we ask that you please try to schedule a date and time as far in advance as possible.
Prospective students can attend classes with a current student, sample meals at a dining facility, and visit residence halls. This is a great way to get the “feel” of the University. For more information, visit the Husky-for-a-Day website, call (860) 486-1601, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
University Open Houses (Fall and Spring)
The University sponsors three open house events each year. The two fall open houses are for all prospective students. The spring open house is for admitted students and is held in mid to late April. Open houses are the best opportunity to learn about the admissions process, financial aid, housing, and student life, and to attend informational sessions specific to your area(s) of interest. Information on open house events can be obtained by contacting the Undergraduate Admissions Office.
