Minors

The Applied & Resource Economics major offers three minors: 

Business Management and Marketing:

The minor provides an overview of marketing, management, and financial principles and concepts in business. Analytical and applied decision-making skills are emphasized.

Please note: Business Management and Marketing Minor is not open to ARE majors who are concentrating in Marketing and Business Management. Environmental Economics and Policy:

The minor provides interested students with an overview of key concepts and methods used by economists to analyze problems associated with human use and misuse of natural resources and the environment, and to evaluate policy options for better management of these resources for current and future generations.

 

Equine Business Management:

The minor provides interested students with an overview of marketing, management, and financial principles and concepts in equine management. Analytical and applied decision-making skills are emphasized.
