Adjunct Faculty – Spring 2026 and Beyond

The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE) at the University of Connecticut invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach a graduate-level course beginning January 2026. We are currently seeking an instructor for:

ARE 5353 – Data Ethics and Equity in the Era of Misinformation

Adjunct faculty typically teach one or two courses per semester and are compensated on a per-credit basis. This course is hybrid in the spring semester and fully online in the fall semester.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in applied economics, economics, business, finance, data science, or a related field.
  • An ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Previous teaching experience in related courses.
  • Experience teaching in academic or professional settings.

Appointment Terms
